CITROËN MODEL RANGE COMPLIANCE WITH E10 PETROL Citroën’s range of petrol* and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) vehicles built from January 2000 onwards are compatible with E10 petrol. The changes brought in from 1st September 2021 do not affect Citroën’s full range of 100% electric or diesel vehicles. UK Government have stated “the introduction of E10 petrol at UK forecourts could cut transport CO2 emissions by 750,000 tonnes a year – the equivalent of taking 350,000 cars off the road, or all the cars in North Yorkshire.” By 2025 all Citroën passenger cars will be available with an electrified powertrain, with all van models available as 100%-electric by the end of 2021.
