CITROËN BERLINGO VAN CELEBRATES THE NEW YEAR WITH ANOTHER AWARD

Build quality, equipment levels, safety features and attractive pricing were all factors that helped new Citroën Berlingo Van to win the Small Van of the Year award for the second year running from Company Car and Van Magazine. This most recent award is the latest in a long line to be presented to Berlingo Van.

Citroën Berlingo Van has made a flying start to 2020 by adding another award on top of the wealth that it won in 2019. The provider of independent SME fleet motoring news, Company Car and Van magazine has awarded New Berlingo the award of ‘Small Van of the Year’ for the second year running.

After just one year on the market in the UK, Citroën Berlingo Van has won many customers as well as a string of awards. This latest accolade is part of a long list of awards bestowed on Citroën Berlingo Van, including What Van? 2020 ‘Light Van of the Year’ back in December 2019 as well as the highly coveted 2019 ‘International Van of the Year’.

Company Car and Van Editor Andrew Walker commented: “Citroen's latest Berlingo Van not only looks and feels tough, it also comes well equipped, with on-trend good tech and the latest safety features. Furthermore, it’s attractively priced, which is a real bonus for one of the leading vans in the sector.”

The BlueHDi 100 model offers up to 54.0mpg (WLTP Combined), making it a popular choice for SME customers. With standard length ‘M’ and long wheelbase ‘XL’ models to choose from as well as a five-seat Crew Van, there is a Berlingo Van to suit a wide range of users. Payloads of up to 1,000kg and the different length options ensure that Berlingo Van appeals to a wide range of van users. X, Worker, Enterprise and Driver specifications provide equipment designed to assist different types of Berlingo Van customer.

The popular Enterprise specification brings standard equipment including air conditioning, rear parking sensors, cruise control with variable speed limiter, an alarm, electric folding door mirrors, tyre pressure monitoring, EXTENSO® modular folding passenger seat with load through bulkhead, front fog lights, DAB radio with 8” colour touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple Car Play™.
