TATES DS STORE CRAWLEY HAS SELECTED SALLY GUNNELL OBE
Sally Gunnell OBE has been chosen by Tates DS STORE in Crawley to be their local DS Ambassador to help bring awareness of DS products and services to West Sussex in style DS Automobiles is the new auto brand, established in 2015, and now operating as a dedicated premium brand with a new range of cars that also include latest electrified versions While Sally continues with her own pursuits, promoting commerce in West Sussex, as DS Ambassador to Tates DS STORE she is to be involved in local DS developments as new brand operates in the spirit of Avant Garde
Tates DS STORE Crawley is a new, boutique-inspired, outlet for customers and prospects of DS Automobiles. Located in the West Sussex area in Crawley, it has selected Sally Gunnell OBE to be its DS Ambassador, aiming to generate wider awareness for the DS brand, its product and services.
Sally was at Tates DS STORE recently meeting staff and management led by Dealer Principal Trevor Meadows, and was also introduced to Alain Descat, UK MD at DS Automobiles who shared forthcoming developments including the new electrified (all-electric and hybrid) vehicles that are due to arrive early in 2020.
The first opportunity in her most recent capacity as local DS Ambassador will be at Tates DS STORE with a MacMillan Coffee event on the 27 September where Sally is the guest speaker.
Trevor Meadows, Dealer Principal at Tates DS STORE in Crawley, said “When the opportunity arose to work with Sally Gunnell OBE, we were delighted to engage with her, conscious of her abilities and reputation which we knew were ideal aspects for the role as our local DS Ambassador. New DS Ambassador in West Sussex, Sally Gunnell OBE, commented “I feel delighted to be working alongside Tates and their extravagant DS STORE in Crawley, in this joint venture. The timing seems very appropriate too, with the DS brand being so new, with fresh and exciting developments, their all-electric and hybrid products, and the fact that they have just won the Formula E Championship; I am very much looking forward to this association during this inspiring time!”
ABOUT SALLY GUNNELL OBE
In the 1993 New Year Honours, Gunnell was made an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) and in the 1998 Queen's Birthday Honours, she was made an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire). In 2011, Gunnell was appointed Deputy Lieutenant of West Sussex.
Sally is the only female British athlete to have won Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth titles, and is the only female 400m hurdler in history to have won the Olympic and World titles, and broken the world record.
Nowadays, Sally delivers keynotes and corporate health and wellbeing programmes sharing her athletics career to inspire and empower others. The synergy between sport and business has allowed Sally to encourage people to believe in their own ability and become the very best that they can be.
