PEUGEOT LCVS WIN BIG AT 2021 COMPANY VAN TODAY AWARDS

The PEUGEOT Partner and e-Expert Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) have received recognition at the 2021 Company Van Today Awards. The Partner has been named recipient of the ‘Light Van’ award, whilst the e-Expert has been honoured with the ‘Green Award’ alongside the overall 2021 ‘Van of The Year’ title.

The 2021 Company Van Today ‘Van of the Year’ award is the latest in a series of accolades won by the PEUGEOT e-Expert since it first launched last year.

The new 100% electric PEUGEOT e-Expert comes in three vehicle lengths – Compact, Standard and Long – and is available with either 50kWh or 75kWh batteries providing a range of up to 205 miles (WLTP). With a maximum towing capacity of 1,000kg, a payload of up to 1,226kg and a 6.6 m3 load capacity, the new model is practical for a range of business and personal uses. The PEUGEOT e-Expert is the first model to come as part of the brand’s electrification strategy to provide a fully electrified LCV range by the end of 2021.

The Company Van Today Awards are decided by the magazine’s editorial team, harnessing decades of experience in the light commercial vehicle sector. They reward the LCVs that best-serve the business marketplace across a broad range of criteria including operating cost, payload, safety equipment and technology.

Tom Webster, Editor of Company Van Today, said: “PEUGEOT’s success is testament to the strong light commercial vehicle line-up the brand can now offer. The Partner brings a combination of quality, breadth of range and good driving qualities to the light van sector, while the e-Expert is genuinely trailblazing in enabling fleets to consider going electric, which is why it is a worthy Company Van Today Van of the Year winner.”

Winner of the ‘Light Van’ award, Company Van Today adds to the PEUGEOT Partner’s impressive trophy cabinet. The Partner van is capable of an impressive 1,009 kg payload, up to 4.4m3 load volume and boasts excellent fuel efficiency. The PEUGEOT Partner also comes with the award-winning PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® and provides an impressive selection of driving assistance technologies. Later this year, a fully electrified e-Partner will join the e-Expert as part of the electric LCV line up.

Julie David, Managing Director of PEUGEOT UK, said: “I am delighted to hear the news that the PEUGEOT Partner and e-Expert have been named winners in the 2021 Company Van Today awards. We are thrilled to see our LCV range being held in such high-regard and are especially grateful to Company Van Today for recognising the e-Expert as Van of the Year. We are continuing to develop our e-LCV range and can’t wait to be able to provide van drivers with a fully electrified range by the end of this year.”

The PEUGEOT Partner and e-Expert are available to buy now at PEUGEOT Retailers. For ease, LCV customers can configure and reserve their vehicle online, and complete their purchase journey in-store at a Retailer. PEUGEOT Retailers across the UK continue to adhere to strict social distancing and hygiene measures to keep staff and customers safe.
