Adventurer Brendon Prince has set a new world record in his attempt to circumnavigate mainland Britain using a stand up paddleboard (SUP), supported by PEUGEOT. Completing a 2,400-mile paddleboard around Britain, Brendon has also helped raise awareness for water safety, men’s health and the need to protect Britain’s coast lines.

PEUGEOT confirms its petrol and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) vehicles built from January 2000 onwards are fully compatible with E10 petrol. This compatibility applies to both passenger cars* and vans. E10 is now becoming the default grade of petrol at filling stations, with the UK Government stating the introduction of E10 petrol at UK forecourts could cut transport CO2 emissions by 750,000 tonnes a year – the equivalent of taking 350,000 cars off the road, or all the cars in North Yorkshire.”

PEUGEOT has continued its strong performance in 2021, increasing its UK car market share year on year to 3.8%, according to the latest registration figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). PEUGEOT has also improved its passenger car Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) market share versus 2020, jumping from 4.5% in 2020 to 5.9% in the first six months of the year.

PEUGEOT has continued its strong performance in 2021, increasing its UK new car and van market share year on year to 4.7%, according to the latest registration figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). PEUGEOT has also improved its Passenger Car Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) sales mix from last year, jumping from 11.2% in 2020 to 15.5% in the first five months of the year.

The PEUGEOT 208 has surpassed 20,000 model sales in the UK following its commercial launch in 2020. The achievement comes as PEUGEOT also celebrates 10,000 sales across its hybrid and electric vehicles, with the brand set to offer an electrified variant across its entire line-up by 2025.

PEUGEOT continues its positive momentum in April by increasing its car market share from 4.0% at the end of first quarter 2021, to 4.8% in April, according to the latest registration figures recorded by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). This contributes to a combined car and van market share of 5.3%, an increase from 4.8% in the first quarter of 2021. In addition, PEUGEOT has achieved third place in electric car sales, with a market share of 7.6%.

PEUGEOT has continued its strong momentum in 2021, increasing its UK car and van market share from 4.4% overall in 2020, to 4.6% in the first quarter of 2021, according to the latest registration figures recorded by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). PEUGEOT has also improved its Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) passenger car sales mix versus 2020, jumping from 11.2% to 17.0% in the first quarter of 2021, with over 2600 sales. In the most recent figures for March, PEUGEOT vans were the fourth best-selling in the UK, achieving a 7.6% market share in March.

This is not just a new logo, but a completely new experience for users, from the brand's website to its retailers. This experience transforms the time spent with PEUGEOT into quality time. Designers from PEUGEOT and the PEUGEOT Design Lab studio have created the new logo from the iconic Lion. They joined forces with the W agency to design the visual aspect of the new identity. The PEUGEOT marketing teams, in collaboration with the OPEn agency, created the worldwide brand campaign LIONS OF OUR TIME. The mantra of all these teams is the move upmarket, the attractiveness and the digitalisation of PEUGEOT. The brand unveiled its new identity on the 25th February.

PEUGEOT is continuing its relationship with the British School of Motoring (BSM), with the driving school having welcomed more than 200 PEUGEOT 208 models to join its fleet. Since the relationship began in 2015, PEUGEOT’s model range has become a favourite among students and driving instructors, with BSM looking to add further PEUGEOT 208 models over the next year.

The PEUGEOT DESIGN LAB is opening a new satellite design studio in São Paulo, Brazil, expanding its design credentials across the globe. The new design studio is the third satellite studio created by PEUGEOT with two others based in San Francisco and Shanghai and will cater to clients outside the automotive sector.
