PEUGEOT leader of the passenger car market in the first half of 2021 in France
In the first half of 2021, PEUGEOT retains first place in the perimeter of private vehicles with a market share of 17.7%. The success of the PEUGEOT 208, which remains the best-selling vehicle in France, accompanies these good results, but this performance is also driven by the other vehicles in the range: the PEUGEOT 2008, PEUGEOT 3008, PEUGEOT 5008 and the PEUGEOT 508 which allow the lion brand to consolidate its leadership position over this period. PEUGEOT is also the leader in sales to individuals and businesses for the total of the first half of 2021.
In the first half of 2021:
• PEUGEOT has two vehicles in the top five of the best-selling private vehicles in France: ?The PEUGEOT 208 leads with a market share of 5.3%
?The PEUGEOT 2008 retains third place with a market share of 4.4%
• Five vehicles are leaders in their segment: ?The PEUGEOT 208 in the B segment with a market share of 5.3%
?The PEUGEOT 2008 in the B-SUV segment with a market share of 4.4%
?The PEUGEOT 3008 in the C-SUV segment with a market share of 3.4%
?The PEUGEOT 5008 in the 7-seater C-SUV segment with a market share of 1.5%
?The PEUGEOT 508 in the D segment with a market share of 0.5%
In a passenger car market up 29%, PEUGEOT has a market share of 17.7%
In an LCV market up 38.7%, PEUGEOT has a market share of 17.9%
In a passenger car + LCV market up 30.8%, PEUGEOT has a market share of 17.7%.
