From April 15, 2021, Thomas Chevaucher will take over Xavier Mestelan-Pinon at the helm of DS Performance where he will seek to add to DS Techeetah’s score of Drivers’ and Teams’ titles in Formula E, while at the same time heading the technical team entrusted with the development of its Generation 3 car.

DS Automobiles, the first premium car maker to enter Formula E back in 2015, extends its commitment to the FIA World Championship until 2026*. Thanks also to the double Team and Driver titles conquered in 2018-2019 and 2019-2020, DS Automobiles is a record-setter in the category. The French constructor will develop a new generation (Gen3) single-seater for the 2022-26 seasons. Formula E is perfectly in line with the electrification strategy of DS Automobiles, the multienergy car maker with the lowest CO2 average emission level in Europe in 2020.
